Engaging and informative

This was most enjoyable. Mundle brings a well known history to life and the narration by Paul English is superb.

The book is very thorough and informative. It was an enjoyable read. I learned a lot.

Exciting historical biography!

Very well researched, written, and narrated. very educational.. great fun. Captain Cook circumnavigates the world and discovers new lands and cultures. Life aboard his ships is skillfully described. its almost like being there.

Excellent biography, beautifully written

This is, by far, the best book I have read on Captain James Cook. Beautifully written and captured as a biography; but more importantly, written through the eyes of a historian. Loved this immensely.
