Amelia Fairbanks was reared in a genteel English society. Despite her aristocratic upbringing, she was independent and strong-minded. Her father held her to the highest standards, and she was tutored to handle a weapon and wield a sword with the utmost accuracy, ease, and confidence. She wasn't afraid to implement those skills against anyone threatening her safety or, her virtue. When Amelia's mother succumbs unexpectedly, her father sends passage to join him at Fort Pitt in the New World where he serves as its commanding officer for the British Army. Her relationship with him tilted the scales toward hatred, as her only worth & value was her ability to attract a rich husband to elevate his social status.

Odatshe, is son to Nantuk, Wolf Clan Chief of the Mohawk Nation. He has been stripped of his leadership as War Chief due to his blinding lust for power that has considerably affected the lifestyle and safety of his people. He is sent on an important mission , which hopefully leads him on a path of righteousness towards regaining his father's respect and his honor.

During this journey, he unwittingly encounters a small troop of British soldiers trying to fend off an attack of enemy Mohicans while escorting the daughter of their commanding officer. Odatshe finds himself in awe of the striking beauty, who displays no fear but utter strength and skill as she, too, stands in combat against them and ends up as the only "white" survivor.

Both find themselves thrown into a situation neither wanted. Will they both go their separate ways OR will they surprisingly learn that fate had planned their encounter all along, changing their lives in ways they never deemed possible?
