it was a cute little story I bought it on sale so it was a win-win The book first came out in '93 but you couldn't tell if it was dated

Romantic Corporate Thriller

John Grisham, watch out! Who knew I needed a lesbian romance about environmental engineering and cost accounting where soil samples and invoices take down the greedy corporate executives? I love this book because it centers real people doing ordinary things. Their integrity and bravery make the story extraordinary. The characters’ romantic arc is all the more interesting because of the disastrous problems they uncover at their corporate jobs and how they work together to blow the whistle on their company.

Interesting storyline

Odd way to connect under the circumstances of a carpool but interesting work situation that brings a group together….it was fast and ended quickly with an abrupt resolution- I enjoyed it for the historical truth about the LGBTQ, female and people of color experience. I recommend it for the importance of learning early history
