Best fucking romance book I’ve ever read

I read this back in 2022 as a Triple Frontier fanfiction. I even wrote a fanfic of the fanfic. It was incredible then and just as incredible when I released in 2024 when it published.

Zara is likable but complicated. Frustrating sometimes but realistic.
Benny is my fucking favorite I adore him so much

Oh my god, this book! I am such a huge fan of Why Choose romances, and this has to be one of the best I’ve ever read! The characters are all captivating, from the self-destructive Zara to the mysteries that swirl around Alex, Ben, Will, and Gabriel.

I could not put this down. The detail in this is so lush, from the descriptions of the room and food to the characters - it is dripping in luxury and such a pleasure to read. Charlotte’s writing is beautiful. There’s so much sweet tension between Zara and the Cardinals, you will absolutely be on the edge of your seat for more than one reason!! And I loved the world-building and relationships in this. Everything feels so lived-in. I read this when it came out, and have returned twice to listen as an audibook. Mia Madison does such a great job getting us into Zara's mind, and I would definitely recommend this to fans of dark romance,
