Will she give up on the promise she made to her uncle to "bust her ass" to get those missing 20 feet? Or will the chaos be the defibrillator that revives her and provides an escalator ride to freedom?

I really liked this book! so much more complex than the others in the series. kudos!

Definitely kept my attention!

Very good narration, and a storyline that made me wonder about those I left back in the hood. The characters and some scenarios were relatable to hood life from the 80s/90s. The back story left room for a prequel (I'll take a signed first edition if i cant get $ royalties for the suggestion, lol).
