To make matters worse, my new boss is the gorgeous, reformed rake of a prince Mateo Vauntero who seems to hate me for absolutely no reason and refuses to help me at all. He wants me to fail. He wants an excuse to fire me. Every interaction is a verbal sword fight. With Mateo, it’s two steps forward and two steps back.

And while I have no idea what I did to get on the prince’s bad side, I’m not going down without a fight. The future I’d always dreamed of is in my grip…he’s going to have to pry it from my hands.
