Yes, plots, and intrigue, and sabotage, and kidnapping with torture, last minute saves after some Urban SAR, a mountain rescue, and a twisting plot. Plenty of action.

Added to the story but boring

Was waiting for book 2, really enjoyed book 1 but this book was boring. 90% was the mundane daily life of a guy and his cat girls 10% was interesting. And he has less sex than I do and I’m 60 years old. Hope this was just setting up the stage for a super book 3.

good but could be better

Story is great, but the writing needs work. It seems that the author needs to expand his vocabulary.
