Beautiful Explanation of a Powerful Tool

I loved the explanation of centering prayer and how it came about and has roots in scripture. I really enjoyed this introduction and hope to incorporate it more into my daily life.

this was my first book around the subject of centering prayer. I have to admit I was not a fan of the voice of the narrator. but pushing past that, I enjoyed learning more about this contemplative tradition. this is probably a book I will need to buy so that I can actually take notes on the pages of it. as someone who is new to the practice, I found it helpful to understand more of the history and intention of centering prayer.

Excellent information/poor narration

Loved the book but found the narrator to be very annoying and mechanical. Made my way through but will not be able to listen to book again. Centering prayer is an extremely valuable tool to anybody on a path.
