Love and hate!

Another great story! I enjoyed listening to this story! The love and heart ship they go through Narrators were awesome together!

Another curse? Yep.

Wow! Lots of things happening in this one. Be sure you have read all the preceeding books in the series so you are caught up on what's what. I am not going to spoil this one for you so I will just say there is plenty of drama, love, and sacrifice. A new curse will appear and a new ally. Enjoy.

Little Frustrating!!

I enjoyed this book for the most part! I will say that I was also very frustrated with a lot of parts. I just wanted to shout at her men and just shake them. I understood the reasons for the mistrust but it was still frustrating. The narration was still good and I still enjoyed the book over all. I can’t wait to see what the final book has in store!!

Wow, even better than book 7!

I couldn't stop myself from listening to this audiobook almost in 2 sittings. I had to force myself to stop what I was doing because I was so engrossed in this story. I was so happy to see this was released so quickly after I finished book 7 (literally the next day haha) so I didnt have long to wait to see what would be happening next with Talia and her complicated men. I won't give things away but this storyline does a great job at messing with your emotions haha. I havent been so frustrated with Talia's mates until this book in particular haha. I was screaming at my phone like COME ON PEOPLE, YOU KNOW BETTER hahaha. If you've listened/read you would understand my reaction! So let's say they finally see the error in their ways but almost was too late and at a huge cost. Part 8 of this series did a really good job driving home the insanity the Murk leader was willing to go to, the love and devotion Talia and her mates have for one another (even the budding friendships/brotherhoods), and the budding relationship and feelings Talia and Madoc try to fight and ignore. I knew what was coming but I didnt know the author was going to do the big reveal at the end (totally wasn't crying or again yelling at my phone, at a different character from the stories this time). Amazing job, cannot wait for book 9 to be here, but dreading it all the same. I know the author will do a phenomenal job wrapping up this epic fantasy story ❤️

In terms of the narration, I thought this was Savannah and Ryan's shining moment from the series. There are so many things that go on here that they have to portray with careful performances and intonations and they do a brilliant job of it. There are so triggering events that they do a great job acting, had me in tears. They did a great job bringing these characters to life, making us feel their happiness, pain, wariness, and joy. 5/5 easily from me!

I will say the only thing I think could have been better was just an overall trigger warning. There may have been, to be honest, but it wasn't performed on the audiobook so I am not sure. There was a traumatic event and I know if I had lived through something similar this would have triggered me. I haven't thank goodness but it might be a good idea to add something (if it was already added to the ebook, ignore this, it just wasn't included in the narration so I wasn't sure).

this book just gets to you and just wow. This book and overall series has just been amazing and the narration just brings up a notch. It is a must read and/or listen.
