To save his best friend, he must defeat the best of the best.

Despite his heroic efforts, Glenn Graybreaker’s only chance to resurrect his best friend is now to compete, and win, in the prestigious Sandsea Cup. If he and Becka can place highly in this tournament of duels, mazes, and monster battles, Glenn can reach level 15 at the rate the gods demand.

Meanwhile, Junior Blazers Leo and Sara remained captives of the mysterious Teacher, a man who is convinced that those who cease to level will face a dark afterlife. Leo and Sara must not only escape their captor, but keep other young adventurers alive through a gauntlet few dare to tread.

As Glenn’s friends and enemies gather in the golden sands, he’ll have a chance to not just save his best friend, but change the course of history. Even the Gods don’t know what may happen next....

Book five of an action-packed LitRPG adventure with strong-to-stronger progression, strategic battles, endearing characters, and slice-of-life elements.

Did not expect the series to end here but still enjoyed it all the way through

Surprising End of Series

*SPOILERS* This story, like many LitRPG,s, could have extended (or dragged) for many more entries. The ending does not have a cataclysmic showdown, many might think or feel it is underwhelming. I certainly did for a few moments, but it was a very Glenn way to end things. I appreciate the author’s way of giving every character their time and personality, they never really faded into the background. I believe Glenn Redwood to be one of the more relatable characters I have read/heard. A man, tossed and handled by fate, doing his best to follow his ideals and not betray himself, his friends or his quest. Whatever the reason was to make this the last volume, I am satisfied and grateful the author did not force the story or themselves to overextend.

Unexpectedly Satisfied

Good story and what appears to be a closing of a series. Leaves opening for new direction though with new character.
