Chasin a dream

I want to say that Mike has captured the journey of every cowgirl and cowboy that chooses to chase rodeo as a way of life. To reveal to his listner or reader how hard a dream is to accomplish. How the trials and tribulation, although they be spirit busters, allow determination to grow within the dreamer.
Life on the rodeo trail is full of windshield times of beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Of friends made and sometimes ftiends lost. Of gold buckles missed and championships won.
The rearview mirror to those that chase rodeo is of seldom use as the dream of the dreamer seeks and reaches furition. Saved and relived as glimpses of glory days, as tales for the grandchildren.
Mike has given us the windshield as well as the rearview mirror.

This was a very good book by the author. I really enjoyed the book. I have rodeoed for many years and was impressed by the way he explained each and every detail about the different rodeo events. Having been a rodeo cowboy I have experienced just what he was talking about the travel, friends,enemies, and entering rodeos. I would like to read other western books by the author.

Loved this Book

I loved this sweet story of a cowboy's love for his sport and his struggles and successes, finding true friends and true love along the way.
It held my attention and I was sad when it ended.
Good Book.

Enjoyed by an old rodeo hand!

Brought back a lot of old memories. Well written and brought you into the story which was very realistic.
