The werewolf concepts/mythology is way different than the traditional werewolf storylines often depicted in werewolf novels. That was refreshing.
This was a easy going romance novel, something I would have easily reached for in my teenage years. teens may be the target audience for this series.
If you are looking for a werewolf novel where there is deep passion, this may not be the book for you.
The main characters, remind me of two good friends who fall for each other, that Is the kind of chemistry they seem to have.
I did grow frustrated with the lead female. she is very sensitive, almost to sensitive at times. shaming herself when she has unique moments of strength. That didn't sit well with me personally, but other may find it refreshing and relatable.
there was a lot of "I'm sorry" being used in these series. some may not like that, so heads up.
I will add that this book is detailed beautifully. Description of people, surroundings, actions is done so the story can flow well without becoming boring. This truly allowed me to fully visualize the world that was created and see the images in my mind clearly.
my overall opinion is that these are decent books. I don't regret buying them. it's interesting to see a different werewolf world through the eyes of a fellow writer. The creativity involved to create something unique in a werewolf novel is something to admire.
