Great biography. Absolutely doesn't hold back, and you will get to know the real Bukowski. He was deeply flawed, but deeply loved.

comforting review of life

Im an avid consumer of Bukowski interviews I thought I knew everything but was surprised at some new facts I heard. it does make me think that I created a fictional character in my mind of what he was or wanted him to be. But knowing the truth is better than not. I like it.

One of the greatest biographies I've ever read. Well composed and researched book. Sounds a lot like Bukowski!
