I loved this witty and touching version of Cassandra Ravenel’s story. Tom Severin is the Hero. I loved everything about this book. Add a little boy named Basil, who made me laugh out loud and narrator Mary Jane Wells and you have a hit! I love humor in my books and I’m a sucker for cute and funny kids or animals. That’s a bonus. There were few, of any cuss words. No intercourse before marriage.

A great wrap-up so it seems to this series but I certainly hope that we get to visit with all these past characters again with maybe more stories about the Wallflower offspring. I'm just not ready to let go.

This series was extremely well done. The characters were complex and the plot in each book kept you guessing.

Another great historical romance!

I can’t believe I ever doubted her. When I first heard about this pairing I didn’t buy it. I didn’t think it would work at all. I was sooooooooo wrong. Tom and Cassandra are utterly enchanting. It is such a cute book. It is crazy believe able and you get a little bit from all the previous characters.

Just a joy. Only complaint is it feels just a bit rushed and I would have enjoyed more. Mary Jane Wells is fantastic as well. If you have enjoyed Kleypas before you will not be disappointed
