A Surprise Baby

A young widow turns to her brother-in-law for comfort on the day of her husband's funeral with unexpected consequences of the nine months later variety leading to a lot of uncertainties and miscommunications but ultimately to an HEA.
I confess to moments when I wanted to lock the hero and heroine in a room and not let them out until they'd actually talked to each other, but mostly it's a sweet, slightly steamy romance story with a lot of family drama leftover from the dead husband/brother.
When all is said and done, I liked the story.

Emotional love story

I asked to receive this free review Audible book and wrote this unbiased review. Jana is so good at telling a story about flawed characters and ones hiding secrets. Lauren who has just buried her husband and Cole, his brother, have found comfort together. Now there is a baby on the way. It is heartwarming and at times heart-wrenching to watch them deal with this situation. If they had just communicated their true feelings towards each other everything would have been a lot better. I enjoyed watching this story develop.

The narrator was good but by I didn't like her male voice. She did seem to get better as the story progresses. I highly recommend this book.
