Children's Book: Being a princess is a pain

One night, a young girl has a dream about being a princess. Now, while most girls think that being a princess would be a dream come true, our little girl discovers that it’s not as great as it sounds! This well-illustrated and humorous rhyming story, for children aged three to seven years old, tells of how our young girl at first experiences the pleasures of royalty, but soon discovers that she can’t see her friends or be her somewhat scruffy self. The dream comes to an end, just before she’s had enough, and upon awakening she feels relieved. Now she can go back to her old self, play with her friends and dogs, and splash around in the sloshy, muddy bogs. The story has been written to help young children to realize that they are special just the way they are, and that getting what you think you want is not always best.
