"Yes, Virginia, There is a Santa Claus" is a kindly editor's reply to a young reader regarding the existence of Santa; "Silent Night" is the classic song read with meaning and reverence; "The Christmas Masquerade" is a charming tale of a magical Christmas Eve; "A Turkey for One" is a delightful tale of an exotic present; "Child Jesus" is a poem read with tender awe; "The Father Christmas" is a wry tale of Christmas Shopping; "A Christmas Prayer" is a pious, optimistic poem; and "A Visit from St. Nicholas" is the classic tale of Santa's visit.

The idea of a collection of stories is great, but the long story about children under a spell with costumes they could not take off is only related to Christmas tangentially and was strange and scary. My son hated it and made me turn it off. I later finished listening, and was surprised the ending of the story was a required marriage of one of the young daughters of the mayor. The turkey story was also strange. I think these two stories did not belong in this collection.Long bizarre fairy tale about costumes ruins it
