Mundane

This is easily one of the most boring books I've ever read. There isn't an ounce of conflict anywhere in this story. Even the secret, can't-show-my-face-in-public reasons for the two main characters being on the island ended up being relatively pedestrian. I know this is supposed to be a cozy romance, but even Hallmark movies have a squabble at the end to make you think the two main characters can't possibly reconcile their differences before they decide they love each other. Nothing like that here. The cat was the most interesting character. This could have been a cookbook with a few short stories about how Holly found love one Christmas holiday.

A cute holiday read

This was a very gentle, cozy, holiday romance with lots of joy and little stress. I would highly recommend it.
