Snowflakes, cinnamon buns, and a cat who knows true love when he sees it…

Christmas is coming to the little village of Hollywell, where fairy lights twinkle across cobbled streets and the scent of coffee drifts from the Purr & Pour cat café. Lizzie Henslowe has built herself a safe, quiet life here – one filled with tea, toast, and the occasional feline tantrum. What she isn’t looking for is complication.

But when a snowstorm strands American stranger Nash Carter on Christmas Eve, Lizzie finds herself offering more than just soup and a seat by the fire. Nash is handsome, mysterious, and—according to Percy the cat—trustworthy. Yet the more time Lizzie spends with him, the more she suspects there’s something he isn’t telling her.

As the snow deepens and Christmas works its magic, Lizzie must decide whether to guard her carefully mended heart or take a chance on the most unexpected gift of all: love.

Full of sparkle, snow, and second chances, this cosy Christmas romance is perfect for curling up with by the fire.

Fans of Holly Martin and Laurie Gilmore will adore this heart-warming tale of festive cheer, new beginnings, and a romance that just might last beyond the New Year.

it was unfortunate because there were moments of promise, but overall it was a bundle of contradictions and illogic. it also dragged in the middle significantly and not that I was keeping count, bcos hey, I was doing stuff, but it felt like there were at least 2 weeks between Xmas and NYE - I do know there was an awful lot of dinners, going to bed, waking up, breakfast, over and over.
If I hadn't been busy I would've found something better. certainly can't recommend (except for the cats)

I'm not even sure good narration could've saved this

Cute little holiday story. Would have enjoyed it much more if it wasn’t for the horrible AI narration. I will never listen to an audiobook that used AI narrator again!

AI narration is bad!

the AI was pretty good, story is tedious. I couldn't believe how prolonged the almost final encounter was...then I suddenly did not want to listen anymore.

Cute premise bringing two different worlds together. Left me wanting to know what happens next. Likeable characters especially the cats. Virtual voice not too painful to listen to.

Sweet Romance
