Ten months after being cheated on, Aera needed an escape from the obsessive work life she threw herself into post break up.

When she came across a listing to switch homes with a stranger for the holidays, she did what any rational person would do and happily jumped at the chance.

According to her, this was the perfect opportunity for her to break free from her mundane routine and embark on a relaxing, work-free vacation.

Seriously, what could go wrong with a spur-of-the-moment plan like that? Well, you know, besides everything.

Nightmare drive to the cottage? Check.

A house cat with an enthusiastic fornication problem? Unfortunately.

Oh, and a small town where news travels fast? You guessed it.

Although the biggest wrench in her plan was her house swapping partner’s hot brother, Elliot, shows up drunk on her doorstep asking her to have a one-night stand.

All she wanted for Christmas was some peaceful time off, but Comets Valley had other ideas in store for her when an impending blizzard rolled through town, trapping them together with nothing but time on their hands.
