Once I listened to a book in Sabine Frisch's Papillon cozy mystery series, I became hooked. Set in the quaint village of Rosewood Hollow, Christmas in July pits Sarah and her family against a ruthless murderer who, before they catch him, turns his sights on them. The familiy's adorable papillon whose magical powers allows Pixie to communicate with Sarah helps find and decipher clues. Sarah realizes that her daughter Emma is also developing her own powerful supernatural skills which draws them into a closer bond. And don't forget the mischief of the two ghosts that haunt the family's house. They love solving mysteries too. This heart warming cozy murder mystery had me listening for hours at a time. I wished I could be there helping them.
