In the sleepy town of Appomattox, and in towns nestled deep in the heart of the former Confederate South, an eerie and inexplicable phenomenon occurs on Halloween night. The graves of Confederate soldiers, who died defending their cause over a century ago, suddenly stir. The restless spirits of these fallen soldiers rise from the dead, but they're not merely ghosts – they're ravenous zombies with an insatiable hunger for human flesh.

As chaos ensues and survivors are faced with a nightmarish battle for survival, a diverse group of survivors must band together to combat this undead Confederate army. Among them are determined historians, battle-hardened war veterans, skeptical scientists, and spiritualists with a deep connection to the supernatural.

With America under siege and the odds stacked against them, veterans and unlikely heroes must unravel the mystery behind this unholy resurrection and find a way to put these Confederate zombies to rest once and for all. But as secrets of the past come to light and long-buried grudges resurface, the line between friend and foe blurs, and the true horror of the situation becomes chillingly clear.
