There was never any question that I would be there for him.

I've known him since we were kids. We were best friends, sharing everything - until I made a mistake and got a girl pregnant. Pretty soon, I was a single dad while I was still a kid myself. Our friendship suffered. He joined the military. And I thought I'd never get another chance to let him know what he really means to me.

Now he's back, reeling from the loss of his newborn baby's father, and he needs a place to stay while he settles back into parenthood and small town living. I won't pressure him. I won't rush him. And if he's still not interested, I'll let him go. But I'll be damned if I won't hold on to this second chance with the best friend I thought I’d lost long ago.

Welcome to Blackwater, Montana - a small town with a big personality, where shifters and humans coexist. Claimed By The Soldier is a dual point of view shifter audiobook with mpreg, an unexpected inheritance, and a guaranteed happy ending. The fifth in this series, this audiobook can also be enjoyed as a standalone.

This book was so sweet and all about Destiny.....
Pax and Zayne were meant to be, but doubt and worries kept them apart, mentally and physically. This really was a perfect love story...

The narrator did an alright job, but the voices didn't matxh the characters age. They felt way older than what there ages were supposed to be.

Good

The story was on par with the rest in the series. Not high fiction, but entertaining and has the HEA to make you smile. Worth the time. Unfortunately, it was almost a DNF due to the narrator. Seriously, a close thing. Better to read this one than listen to it. I actually got it on Kindle Unlimited and read half of it just to avoid the narrator.

Decent story; awful narrator

I love the Blackwater series but this one I just couldn't even finish because the narrator was such a bad fit in my opinion. I'm sorry but he sounds way too old and then the female/kid voices he made just creeped me out for some reason. I am not hating on him because he was obviously trying and put in a lot of effort. For a book about older men with no children, he would be great probably. lol, The story is cute but I couldn't get past the narration.

Narrator not a good fit!

The narrator of this book is excellent, however he shouldn't have narrated this story. He had the voice of a soothing older man, and made the characters feel like they were senior citizens, not 30 years old. I couldn't get into the story because the narration was off.

The characters had spent their lives together as best friends, then they parted ways when one was pregnant at 15. Now, 15 years later they find themselves together again, both with children and the attraction between them is unmistakable and mutual. It's a very, very sweet story and loving and full of hope. I would have given it another star if it wasn't for the narrator, who, again, had a lovely voice and was perfect, just not for this subject.

Sweet, loving story

I loved both the MCs and especially loved Pax’s daughter Mia. I was afraid at first that the back and forth of unrequited love would gone on too long, but the author didn’t drag it out and I really liked that. Narration was on point and so was the story

Nice love story
