Helen Winters was living a lonely existence when the charming Dr. Liam Larson coaxed her out of solitude with the promise of healing her sightless eyes. She was hopeful at the prospect of gaining vision for the first time and being reunited with her family. Then everything came crashing down.

Plunged into a hellish nightmare, Helen is unprepared to have her hopes crushed and her peace destroyed. She finds herself living in constant terror - and Liam's voice is the only thing that can keep her afloat. Helen has always been a tough girl who relied only on herself. But this time, she can't survive alone. When her life becomes unbearable, how can she trust Liam enough to let him save her?

I’m enjoying the book but it’s really one story. Why break it up? To get more of my money??

Should be just one book.

First of all multiple short books in the series with huge cliffhangers are ridiculously annoying! I don't think I'm alone when I say I hate it when the author holds the rest of the story hostage; making the reader purchase more books. Make it a larger book and charge more!
Secondly, I'm not blind but I would think that many of the comments made in this book would be very insulting to a person who has impaired sight.
Third, the author often leaves things completely hanging that are very unrealistic. For instance ,when she has a cut on her head when wearing the maid of honor dress and no one seems to notice or mention it again. I could go on but there are too many inconsistencies!

Annoying on a few levels...

Gah, the heroine's sister is so incredibly unlikeable. The drama with her and her now husband made me lose interest in finding out if the heroine joins Dr. Liam's medical study to restore her eye sight.

Book 2 ends on a significant cliffhanger, so I pulled up my Kindle copy of book 3 to skim the last chapter. My conclusion is this series has a kind of violent and twisted drama that I can't stomach. It may appeal to other readers though who enjoy high drama. I have zero interest in her sister's storyline, so I'm officially done with this series.

Unfortunately, this series was my first by this author but it failed to impress me enough to give her another chance.

The story's family drama made me lose interest
