great who done with out blood and gore

great character formation. love the Maine coon cat Diesel, several small stories with in that tie it together nicely

Should have a male narrator

Since the lead character is a male, the narrator should be a male. It’s very confusing with a female voice.

A literary mystery performance

Loved the characters and the story unfolding about how they solved the "who done it" murders.

Great Storyline

This is a terrific series, wonderful characters, good storyline development without being diluted in too many directions. Well written, entertaining, and completely enjoyable to read the relationship between a Maine Coon cat and the primary human in the story.

Popcorn mystery

I liked the stuff about the rare books. The Charlie Harris protagonist really needs a lot of work. He acts more like a woman than some women. His cat, Diesel, is JuST a cat - not the perfect creature the author makes him out to be. Guess I need something with more character depth ( and real flaws) not pablum. If you’re looking for something suited more for junior high or what we used to call a popcorn mystery- this is for you.
