I came in expecting very little as I often find that .5 books are rather rough due to there lack of advancement on the plot. That being said, for a book that is not required in the series it had a surprising amount of depth that it gave to some of the characters, and felt like it had a purpose. Overall pretty good and would recommend that other readers don’t skip if they have the time.
