A great dark fantasy.

I enjoyed this collection of stories. Clock is reminiscent of Constantine and the Dresden Files. Great pacing and attention to detail.

Delivered!

The first paragraph as read by the narrator had me worried. So monotone! BUT… it freaking works. The story was snappy, and had enough background to inform; but not enough to make you rip your eyes out. The dialogue was nicely fit for the genre. Overall, very well done. I’d certainly listen to the next book.

Clock vs. Evil

A series of short stories with our protagonist, Clock, vs. various demons from Hell. He's not sure of how he got the job, or remember who/what he was before getting it, but he's very adapt at doing it. Only negative was some of the sound effects distorted the narrator too much.
