Kick Butt Female Characters

Overall this was a pretty good. I can see this becoming an interesting series and developing each character to work together as a team. I did not like some of the random cameo characters that probably will be in future books. I did not understand the witch, but I seriously like Jilly the dragon. Really good narration and the multiple voices. I can see myself getting hooked into the series. Happy listening.

Rockstar underperforms

Everything was YA vanilla, from the plot to the dialogue. The only magic was Danika and her dragon using it as tools for body guarding. I wanted monsters, magical plants or concert sorcery … anything to make the urban fantasy selling point worth my time. But, no.
