A city council party catered by local pastry chef Madeline McDougal suddenly goes dead... LITERALLY! A fun event quickly takes a turn for the worst when one of the town councilman in attendance, Kipper Rio, is discovered dead. With no solid leads to go on as to the perpetrator of the crime, and the local police chief way out of his league. It's now up to Madeline with the help of her friends, to do some "snooping" and expose the killer. If this murder case is going to get solved, Madeline and the gang need to move quickly and quietly. Unsavory characters are all players in this "deadly game," and the guilty party won't hesitate to kill again in order to protect their dark secret.
