Awesome

Part of the Underworld Kings series and can be read as a standalone and I loved it. This dark mafia romance will heat up your evening. If you don’t like filthy dirty men and the women who love them, then I would recommend not picking this up, but you would be missing a read of a lifetime. Loved Arlo and Lina. They meet when Lina is running from her dad’s decision to make her his debt payment. He is her savior even though he has his own dark past. Loved the chemistry between them. Great listen.

Intense mafia romance!

The narrators, J.F. Harding and Stella Hunter, were amazing, I totally loved how they portrayed the main characters. Especially J.F. with Arlo’s gritty voice and his Russian, enough to need a fan to cool me down.

Arlo has been tempted by Galina as no one else has. He wants to make her his but first he has to protect her from even badder men than him. Well, being in the mafia does that to you.

I loved the fact that she brings out the gentleness in him, that he is overcome with emotions just for her, she makes him see the world just a little bit different.

Coldhearted Bastard – Love Arlo!

I love mafia romance and this one was so good. I really enjoyed this book. Galina/Lina was a very strong woman who was on the run. Arlo always came into the diner where she works. One night, a rowdy customer from the diner follows her when she leaves work and attacks her. She was able to fend him off with some pepper spray and a kick and she was able to get away. Arlo witnesses this and ends up causing severe damage to the man including cutting the hand off that touched and bruised Lina and sent a knife through his privates. Arlo makes her move into his beautiful apartment for her own safety. There is a crime boss who wants her in addition to the people she is running from. Arlo was rough and coldhearted when he had to be but Lina warmed his heart. He was great even though he is a killer. He was written in such a way that any woman would want him. I love how Arlo took care of everything so there was a very nice ending. Would like to catch up with them. I highly recommend it. J. F. Harding and Stella Hunter did a great job with the narration.

This was good not great. I had a hard time feeling a deep connection between them. the duet narration was great♡
