When Kate Tyler learns from Braddock International's outpost in Bogotá that her brother has died in an 'accident', the corporation's most senior agent isn't buying it!

Enlisting the help of dashing soldier of fortune Cam Healy, she sets off through the jungle and across the mountains of Colombia, determined to dig up the truth. Kate's plan is complicated still further by a blossoming attraction between her and the rugged, brooding Cam.

But battling the Colombian wilderness and their own hearts won't be only obstacles in Kate and Cam's path! The corporation's greedy and corrupt CEO, Jefferson Braddock, wants to hide a spectacular find made at his company's site. And he's willing to kill anyone who threatens to expose his plans.

This is my first Carol Johnston book

What do you think the narrator could have done better?

Yes ... Her male voices and accents were very annoying ... Maybe it is just me., but parts were painful to listen to.

Was Colombian Heat worth the listening time?

It killed the time on a long drive but i wouldn't recommend

Not very compelling I would skip this one

If you could sum up Colombian Heat in three words, what would they be?

Exciting, dramatic, entertaining.

What about Linda Kerr’s performance did you like?

I think this narrator does a great job in really bringing these characters to life.

Any additional comments?

This was a very entertaining listen! The story is generally fast paced making you want to hear what's coming next. Narrator also does the different accents well which only serves to make the story more interesting. The chapters are generally short making it convenient to stop when you're busy or pressed for time. I gave the story 4 stars only because it seems a little wordy here and there but overall I really enjoyed listening to this one! Would definitely recommend it.

A well read & entertaining listen!!!
