Surprisingly Engaging Shiort Stories

The characters in this book are interesting enough to spend as little time with. Writing is smooth and easy. Fun when the stories feature the same or related characters. They often interlock.

Short stories , no ending

I love the narration by the author herself. I like the short stories however they had no ending, leaving it all for the readers to come to their own conclusion. Not my cup of tea.

So many awkward situations…

A couple of these stories touched me, but affairs, sleeping with stepsons and being loved by old men as teens makes me uncomfortable.
The performance was fine, but monotonous. I’m returning this book.
