The emotional and touching conclusion to the Baxter family series!

The Baxters make plans to come together for a summer lakeside reunion, a celebration like they haven’t had in years. But before the big day, the unthinkable happens. As the Baxter family rallies together, memories come to light in the grief-stricken hours of waiting and praying, memories that bring healing and hope during a time when otherwise darkness might have the final word.

In a season that changes all of them, the brilliance of family love overshadows even the valley of heartache as the Baxters draw closer to God and each other. Along the way, secrets are revealed and the truth about the family’s history is finally made known. Ultimately, in this portrait of family love, the Baxters cling to each other and to God’s promise of forever.

From #1 NYT bestseller Karen Kingsbury comes a story of faith and a forever kind of love that will stay with you long after the last page.

What a wonderful reminder of God’s unfailing faithfulness! This story is a tough one to listen to and I was in tears for 90% of it.... the reality is there are many people in this world who suffer losses similar to those experienced in this story. Karen once again wrote an emotional story with a powerful punch— our God is bigger and better than any bad thing that happens here on this Earth. And He alone will see you through those times. Always.

Gut wrenching but beautiful reminder of God’s faithfulness

I'm still reading it... I absolutely LOVE this entire series but I'm seeing alot of inconsistencies when talking about the past, about each person's story and the shared histories. I wonder why it's not the same as what was in the books mainly about that character. 🤔
These books are so inspirational!! I wish my family was like this. I am praying to be a mother like the Baxter women are, thru Jesus Christ. 🙏

just a note

One reader sounds depressed makes me a little disinterested. It is the amazing story that pulls it together.

As always, Karen Kingsbury's stories of the Baxters amaze me! I laugh, I cry, and I think about my faith ( how I fall so short and am so undeserving of Christ's love and grace)!
Karen's stories come alive and I have a hard time putting them down and never wanting them to end! I am always humbled and inspired when I read one😊.
Thank you, Karen, for sharing your talent so that others can receive a hope and feel the Love of our precious savior through your stories😍😊❗️
