Thus begins a journey that will see the King of Dura follow in the footsteps of Spartacus himself as he heads for gladiatorial games being held in the Roman-controlled city of Ephesus.

This, the fifth volume in the ‘Parthian Chronicles’ series, is set in the time between ‘Parthian Dawn’ and ‘Parthian Vengeance’.

I loved the way it was narrated! I had ideas of how it was going to end up but I was wrong! Kept me on my toes the whole time!

Love how Salvatore reintroduced us to old friends. This has been his best work in sometime.

This was by far the best in the series! Of course the back story is necessary but this book was just perfection!
