I strongly disliked the narration. sounded like a bot and no emotion which made it very boring and dry. I really could not get into the story because of it.

These are good stories told with such a lack of emotion, the kind of narration reserved for only for engineering manuals.

Narrator sounds like a robot

I like these books a lot. I’ve read many of them so I thought I’d give them a listen while I’m driving. Unfortunately, the performance sounds more like a news anchor rather than a narrator. I had to turn it off and I probably will pass on finishing it completely.

Well written with great world building.

I wish the stories were read by a real person. the robot sounding reader is hard to listen to

horrible robotic reading

Maybe it was the best they could afford, but the production on this is pretty bad. horrible read, and it just sounds like trash. like it was recorded using a PC mic from 1996 and recorded using whatever the default app in windows 95 was. I tried, got to chapter 4, but personally found it impossible to listen to more.

so disappointed, a disservice to Conan
