Well researched, but the ending, ugh.

The ending ruined it, but, I felt this book was well researched when it came to the Catholic church and the customes of a conclave. Harris writes well. Narration is also excellent, though it wasn't one I was familiar with.

Unsettling conclusion

Weird, surprise ending! Found the ending very unsettling. Up to the end of the book, it was very interesting and well-written. But for the ending, I loved it!

Wow. Did not see that one coming!!

Harris does it again. Great story. The detail into the process and politics, no better writer of politics than Robert Harris.

What a twist!

I grabbed this book because there’s a movie coming out in the near future and I wanted to read it. I enjoyed the pace and narration of the book. The twist and the story took me by surprise. I loved it. Cannot wait for the movie!

Great novel!

Really like this story! Robert Harris is a fantastic writer and I have read most of his books over the years! The reader is very good with just the right amount of emphasis on words - great voices for the different characters!
