I and both shocked and appalled that this book or books aren't talked about more. For me it is right up there with some of the greats. This book and performance by the reader has me in a glass case of emotion that it is over and I have to wait for the 4th book. The balance of humor, action, dialog, and character development is perfect! It almost seems that Kevin Sinclair wrote this book with Christian Gilliland in mind to read it. The timing on the delivery is amazing. I understand everyone is entitled to their opinion but if anyone doesn't enjoy this book then they are wrong. Please do yourself a favor and get this 3 book set.

the story was great, I liked all the characters especially Mayhem, (you'll see). I would really enjoy this if it were put into a mini series or a couple movies. the narrator did a great job voicing the different characters, and kept a great flow throughout. now where's book 4?

very cinematic story.

I really like this book series but the audio is weird when the aliens Characters talk it sound like they are recorded at a lower level.

I did finish this book, so that says something.

My main gripe about this book is the dialog. All the characters over-communicate and are constantly giving each other verbal hand jobs. It comes out weirdly stilted, as if the author put a lot of thought into what the characters were feeling at the moment and then just had it all just burst out of their mouths in the most emotionally mature and sensitive way possible.

The narrator mispronounces things, and honestly was a poor choice. The book was clearly written by a Brit, and it struck me that some of the stilted nature of the dialog was actually from a sarcastic comment, not being spoken sarcastically. I think the American narrator simply didn't detect this nuance, while a Brit would be more likely to recognize it for what it is.

Horrible dialog, bad pick for narrator
