I really enjoyed this book from the narrator to the plot line of the story. I believe I especially loved it because it's based on a real person from history.

One knows it’s an amazing novel when one can’t stop thinking about it. This author obviously did her homework. What a fascinating heroine and such an eye opener on how women become prostitutes in that day. Loved the happy ending but still a bit poignant. What a unique and wonderful novel!
