Too basic. Doesn’t go into enough detail about the subject. Not for pilots wanting to dive deeper into IFR flying.

Organization is pretty good, with different topics of about 8 minutes a piece easy to navigate.

Not a deep dive if that’s what you’re looking for. Also, it’s AI voice which is very aggravating to listen to.

I wouldn’t say it’s a complete waste of a credit.. It’s on par with most other IR content Iv come across where they only go over what you need to know and why instead of the how. They barely go into any detail about the actual information you’re trying to LEARN. It’s a great overview of what an instrument rating is but if you’re trying to actually learn the material this “guide” is not very helpful.

None of the words in the title should be in the title

Nothing about this will help you conquer any part of the knowledge test unless they all of a sudden start asking about the general overview of a topic. I will say that if you are someone who is just interested in knowing what the instrument rating is about, not a bad read or listen, but if you are actually studying for your rating, move along. No specifics on topics, gross overview, and continuously repeated topics are what you’ll find in book. Find something else.
