Logan is a good man to work so hard for Kendall’s love

Logan is the man we all wish to have. Loving, committed and willing to do whatever he has to to get the girl. Kendall was a little bratty and made him work a little too hard for her love. She came around and realized the error of her ways…and Logan was a sweetheart to wait her out. Not many men would. Narrators were great!

I love the great start to this series with Logan and Kendall's love story. Add to it an insiders look at the drag racing industry and how the cars are built and it is an engaging story for those looking for something different than the usual romance. Logan and Kendall meet and sparks fly. He promises to call, but doesn't for over a month. When he finally calls, she isn't sure she can trust him. Logan goes to great lengths to win her trust. A good story where the couple work hard to overcome miscommunication and learn to trust and love each other. Aaron Shedlock and Allison Barnes did an excellent job bringing Logan and Kendall to life via voice.

A little disappointed

I love A.K. Evans, I have read all her books. Kendall, for me, was overly dramatic and too stubborn. I wish she was a little bit less bratty. She tortured poor Logan the played victim. To me, her character could have been better. Overall, the book was good. The narrators were great.

An ok story

In this first audiobook of the new series , the main characters made an appearance in the author’s series Cunningham Security.
Kendall Moore is a labor and delivery nurse who while enjoying a visit to the local pub, meets birthday “boy” Logan Townsend, owner of a racing car garage.
Their first meeting was and night was explosive. His promise to call her never occurred. She assumed he had ghosted her while in fact he had left town and accidentally left her phone number behind.
When she’s started dating, he reappears and thus starts the start and stop relationship.
I have to confess that though I enjoyed Logan, I never warmed up to Kendall. That said , the narrators Aaron Shedlock and Addison Barnes did a great delivery with the narrations.
Though for this listener it was more of a 3.5 stars, I gave it 4 stars since I truly believe the author is very talented. Case in point, her entertaining security series are amongst my favorites.

So good!!!

One of my favorite things in reading a series is that you can see the continuation of other characters through the series.. love that we got to find out what happened to Kendall and Logan.. and love that I can listen to the story and fold laundry or dishes as I tend to get lost on stories when I start reading ..
