Joe Copp, ex-cop, finds himself once again pulled into the down-and-dirty back streets of Los Angeles. His new case sends him into the back lots of Hollywood, behind the glamorous facade of the movie industry, where the subjects of a stakeout begin dying, one by one.

But, before Copp can find the key to the case and take it to the LAPD, an under-cover narcotics officer is nearly killed and Copp finds himself accused of being an accomplice to murder. He quickly finds himself in a real-life Hollywood scenario, and running amok through the corporate halls and back lots where sudden death becomes more than just the scene in a movie.

I liked this book. I dont like the way the cops are always trying to get Joe in trouble. I didn't like Joe being blamed for everything he was blamed for. He had to prove he was innocent. They knew he was anyway. It's best when they work together. Gene Eugene does a great job narrating this book.
