When Corey Westmoreland runs into the one woman he let get away over thirty years ago, he is determined to keep Abby Winters within his reach. Even if it means taking her up to his mountain. And once he realizes their attraction is still explosive after all this time, he’s determined to convince her that it’s not too late for them and that their past and present have now collided for a reason. It was always meant for Corey’s Mountain to be their home.

The story was too short. As well as I know Ms. Jackson can write, this story should have portrayed better sex scenes. They were apart for 32 years, their reconnection should have been explosive and more chapters added.

Mildly disappointed

Not my favorite. Even for romance fiction this is a bit of a stretch. How did they get the lumber & supplies to build the house on the mountain? Also how did the car get up there? Only positive is it was short, although it could have been shorter. This really could have been condenced into 45 minutes prologue in the Book 4.

EEEH

I have never been so happy to finish a book. How many times did he repeat "My mountain"? In their love making scenes her repeating "Corey Please" was just annoying. The narrator did as best he could with the script. Being a lover of most Brenda Jackson books, this was a huge disappointment. This was a book I suggested to my weekly book club. A bad bad choice.

unrealistic and fantastical
