Just bland

I was originally iffy about this title because it is AI read. That’s not why I’m giving it a mediocre rating. (There was an amusing part where it confused hit points with horsepower when it saw the abbreviation HP. ) The character enter action is just forced and odd.

Good Story. Virtual Voice Lets It Down.

This was actually a pretty good story. The layout was pretty balanced not too much sex to over power the story and there is a story.
The real letdown of this release is the virtual voice. It may sound more human but it just misses out when it comes to sentence structure. Like how the words should sound when placed in a certain sequence or ending.

AI at its best and worse

The first hour I spent listening to this was in confusion if this was written by an English Major or an AI. The overly verbose wording was driving me crazy. Almost every sentence had multiple adjectives and adverbs. Nobody talks or writes like this. I found my proof though. The MC takes a dagger to the shoulder and receives "minus 50 horsepower". There are a few other tells but once you understand that this is written and voiced by AI, the book is more enjoyable. I'm giving it 1 star overall because there was no effort in proofreading. Story is decent, Voice is okay (I've honestly heard worse voice actors), but nothing really stands out.

Audiobook was free but not entirely sure I would recommend buying for more than a dollar.
