You've Read One, You've Read Them All

There is a lot of action and passion in each book in this series. It's enough to keep you interested. The problem with all of Jane Blythe's books that I have read is that the main female character was raped in her earlier years and is raped one or more times after meeting her man. I have read several of her books and I have yet to read one that doesn't have rape scenes. It gets old. There are also several moments that sound like the end of the book, but then it's not. Also, the male reader's rhythm is off. The dialogue doesn't sound natural. so, why do I keep listening to her books? I like the dynamics between the team. I love that all the team members have each other's backs. And, like I said, there is a lot of action.
