Waiting for your mate to grow up

I love the premise of having to wait until your mate grows up. To me, this shows patience, especially if you continue to be in the persons life and don't hint at the passion that is awaiting you both. But if course, happy ever after is never guaranteed, because most people have something (family lack, family expectations, dysfunctional childhood, personal dysfunction or family dysfunction) that have to be overcome. And of course when you add in careers, male and female gender roles, pride, lack of communication, poor coping skills and those in so messy emotions you can have a disaster waiting to happen.

Even without the shifter dynamics: this book is a well crafted beautiful disaster of a relationship becoming an amazing cohesive relationship were each member complements the strengths and weaknesses of the other even if that sometimes means going behind the other's back. Adding in the Shifter dynamics and we have another hit for L.L.

One of the best breeds novels

This book in the series was by far was the most emotional and well developed love stories of the breeds stories. I felt and believed the emotion and agony of the main characters. Some of Leigh's books just contain filler between the sex scenes, this one was far better written and the erotic scenes were an evolution of the story and as always the love scenes are well written although very graphic, for those who enjoy the more subtle romance stories, this may not be your cup of tea.

This is my second go around for this breed series it's the belst of them all ... packed with everything!

This book is one of the best she has written. This book will make your heart smile and it will also break your heart. The story is truely beautiful!!
