Story line of a former criminal

Loved the story and have listened to all the books so far. I’m looking forward to the next one as

Terrific storytelling

Beau is a likable antihero who grows as a person and grows on the reader as the series progresses. I greatly enjoyed the first seven books and was entertained by this eighth one a bit less (the grumpy detective gave in too easily to listening to Beau’s solution). The crazy old ladies were a fun crowd of squabblers alternately accusing and helping Beau as he solved the mystery. I love the characters and situations Colin Conway creates for these Cozy Up books and look forward to the ninth book coming out soon.
The narrator is perfect for this series with excellent voice skills and timing. And of course, I continue to hope that Beau and Daphne get to spend time together.

Easy fun read

I have really enjoyed the fun, lighthearted stories that are told in this series. The evolving relationship between Beau and Travis is highly amusing to me.

The reader is excellent. He brings these quirky characters to life.

If only I had book 9

I have zoomed through the audio series. I actually bought the first book (to me) by accident. 2 chapters in I went looking for book 1 so I could do it right. So there I started. Less than 2 weeks later I’m done and at a loss for what to listen to now. Maybe I will go find the book I had actually meant to buy 2 weeks ago. I will miss Beau. Or Ed. Or Ash. Or whoever he is now. He’s funny and keeps me engaged.
