High Fantasy

I will start out by saying that I was given an ARC/ALC copy to read/listen to and am giving my own opinion.
I really enjoyed this book! The book does start a little slow, but it picks up really quickly and takes off from there. I loved seeing how all the different magical races were incorporated into the story and seeing them fight in the battles. I also really liked learning about the magic system that is used.
The book is more of a high fantasy with some romance elements to it, especially with all the action that takes place throughout the story. While it does have some spicy scenes, the romance isn’t necessarily the main plot of the story, focusing more on the fight against the ORCs and dark mages.
I still really enjoyed the book and can’t wait to start book 2 here shortly!
