Scout didn’t like birds before. Now she downright hates them. It doesn’t help that the birds are trying to kill her…and everybody she loves.

Scout isn’t the type to back down. That means it’s time to go to war, and she’s willing to kill anybody who gets in her flocking way.

Feathers are about to be ruffled, and it’s a fight to the finish. Who will soar and who will crash and burn?

Her character needs to act older than 12 or write her out. I’m not apposed to offing her at this point.

The Story Moves Forward

This is a solid addition to the series. There wasn’t a lot of character development, but the overarching story moves another step forward. While I think the narrator is decent, the male voices are never great. This is the kind of series that would benefit from both a male and female narrator.

Very Exciting Plot

AML writes multiple books a month but the quality actually increases rather than the opposite which would be much more typical. This book has complex creatures that I kind of feel sorry for-which is part of the solid writing of the story. Scout is still a bit OCD, but she holds it in check pretty well. I always love the Winchesters too. A+
