My first-hand experience of buying and outfitting a 43-foot sailboat to sail around the world. Newport, Rhode Island, to Florida, caught in10-foot breaking waves head-on. Sailing through the Bahamas and Caribbean islands. High seas off the coast of Colombia. Hanging out in Panama, crossing the Pacific Ocean, Tahiti, Bora Bora, all the islands. Catching mahi-mahi wahoo, and tuna. The Islands of Fiji, active volcano in Vanuatu. Australia, Indonesia, Thailand. Romance, adventure, and sailing across the Indian Ocean, Maldives, COVID-19, pirate incidence in the Gulf of Aden. Going through the Suez Canal, Cyprus, Turkey, Crete, Malta, Sicily, Rome, Sardinia, Minorca, Majorca, Ibiza, the Spanish coast. Gibraltar, and an attack by a killer whale. Down through the Canary Islands and Cape Verde. Across the Atlantic Ocean, getting hit by a big squall and making it to Grenada crossing the rhumb line, to complete the circumnavigation.

Capt. George is one cool dude!

I met my fellow Capt. George this year in Grenada. He's a really down to earth and humble man. I sincerely enjoyed my conversations with him, and learning about his adventures in beautiful destinations around the world. As a fellow cruiser, I haven't been anywhere compared to Capt. George. I've explored the Sea of Cortez, Central America, Colombia, the ABC Islands, and much of the Carribean. But he's seen so much more and experienced many more cultures. For anyone who enjoys sailing, or dreams of exploring our beautiful planet by sailboat, Capt. George's stories are a primer to help you start planning for living the dream.
