Cuban Chickie Boom

Cuba, the last forbidden zone. A tropical paradise located only 90 miles from America. The land of lost casinos. But nothing stays lost forever.

Political changes and the death of Fidel signaled a lift in restrictions - a slow revitalization but progress none the less. It was a brave new world where the gates were slowly opening once again. And two middle level mobsters wanted it. They wanted it all. The boys had a good plan for reopening those lost Cuban casinos - under new management, of course. Their management.

Yes, it was a great plan. But without Syndicate's approval, it was a death sentence. Still, those two who would be king rolled the dice. Payoffs had already been made, and life was smooth sailing ahead. Perhaps their plan might have reaped fruit. Too bad Private Eye Chick Harmon of Key West was there on vacation to spoil it all.

The mobsters captured Sammy the Bull, but Chick got away. One call to Key West brought a band of vagabonds and misfits from 90 miles south to knock down that house of cards. They had one of our pals prisoner, and even though we were strangers in a strange land - out gunned, out muscled, and the game was rigged - we still chose the treacherous path and bet against the house.

Life is full of wise decisions. Wise is overrated. Go make some bad choices. Friendship is well worth the risk.
